Water passing through Barnstead/Thermolyne''s filtration systems is ultrapure, thanks in part to Teel Plastics''s virgin polypropylene tubing.
In the first step of the filtration process, carbon removes chlorine, organics, and ions from the water. The resulting water contains less than 2 ppb of total organic carbon. Next, at least 2 mixed bed cartridges, housed in Teel''s extruded pristine plastic, ensure total elimination of all interference in the Nanopure and E-pure filter lines.
Purchasing manager at Barnstead/Thermolyne Jim Hickie says, "The cartridge tubes are an important component of the new Nanopure Diamond and are presently being used for existing systems. These are all ultrapure water systems. The engineers at Teel Plastics understand our continuous need for improvement, and their level of service and industry knowledge are the reasons why we work with them."
