Panels Debut for Combo Business/Leisure Destinations

New York, NY (November 20, 2014) – Architectural Systems, Inc. (ASI) has introduced Chroma Wood Panels, a collection of deep saturated hues and pop of colors crafted from the ancient Japanese charring/antiquing technique called Shou-sugi-ban. 

Offered in Cypress, Yellow Pine or Redwood species in random length planks and made in the U.S., the material is also available in custom colorations bridging traditional and contemporary design suited for interior and exterior applications.

Trends in Hospitality 

One of ten new ASI product collections, Chroma Wood Panels was launched at the Boutique Design Trade Fair (BDNY) in November at the Jacob Javits Center, in New York. 

At the show, the company highlighted trends in hospitality, including phenomenon of designing for the bleisure traveler, with bleisure defined as ‘the blurring of business and leisure destinations.’
