AVERY DENNISON™ AP 5.4 benchtop printer is designed for high-quality barcode tag and label printing in industrial, apparel, retail, and other applications. Built-in Zebra ZPL emulation ensures compatibility with many currently installed thermal label printers and devices, allowing simple, plug-in conversions from Zebra Z4M printers and other Zebra products.

Flat-head print technology is used to produce most popular 1D and 2D bar codes, graphics, and human-readable copy, at maximum print speed of 8 in. per second with 200 dpi print resolution. Printer processes standard tags and labels, film, fabrics, and other media up to 4 1/2 in. wide.

Wide range of connectivity options, including serial, parallel, USB, and Ethernet, means the AP 5.4 can operate in almost any computer connectivity environment -- PC, minicomputer, mainframe, or network. It has multilingual display and graphical user interface, which prompts operators symbolically and guides them through printer setup -- especially useful for operators with minimal training or who are unfamiliar with menu languages.

Printer is easy to maintain: its printhead and platen roller can be changed without special tools. With durable cast-metal frame and metal ball bearings, it stands up to demanding continuous-duty applications.

Accessory options include dispense, rewind, and cutter/stacker, as well as AVERY DENNISON™ On-Line Verifier (OLV), which provides real-time barcode verification and analysis.
