Rosslyn, VA, October 22, 2007 -- The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), on behalf of the American National Standard Lighting Group (ANSLG), has published ANSI_ANSLG C78.60432:1-2007, ANSI_ANSLG C78.60432:2-2007, and ANSI_ANSLG C78.60432:3-2007, American National Standard for Electric Lamps -- Incandescent Lamps -- Safety Specifications.
These documents revise and redesignate ANSI_IEC C78.60432, Parts 1, 2, and 3 to conform to IEC Guide 21-2005, specifically Section 1, Section 4, and Section 6. Part I of this standard covers tungsten filament lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, Part 2 covers tungsten halogen lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, and Part 3 covers tungsten halogen lamps (non-vehicle).
