Open architecture Model 4500-MTS uses flexible and expandable test platform built on open PCI backplane architecture with 9 slots. Applications include testing FO telecommunications components such as laser diodes. When fully populated with Quad I-V cards, system can simultaneously characterize light-current voltage performance of 36 laser diodes in multihead test fixture. Rack-mountable 5 U chassis accepts wide variety of third-party PC cards.
