Linear Carriage Lock lets user put stop in place at any shaft position in linear motion applications, such as testing equipment, saws, and routers. It centers evenly onto shaft, and places no undue pressure on bearing when locking to shaft. When thumb wheel is tightened, brass inserts contact shaft from both sides to prevent marring and abrasions. Lock mounts to end of pillow block bearing and accommodates 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/2, and 2 in. dia shafts.
