CABS-approved version of Series BLS-270 relies on SS wetted parts and 6 ft PVC or neoprene cable to resist hostile environments. It withstands -4 to +176°F, up to 150 psi, and specific liquid gravity as low as 0.7. SPST output relay switches 100 VA at 250 Vac and comes NO/NC. Low-cost version of Series BLS-270 has polycarbonate slosh shield capped with SS ends, plus brass float stem. It withstands up to 180 psi and specific liquid gravity as low as 0.6. SPST/SPDT output relay switches 5-100 VA at 250 Vac and converts between NC to NO when Buna-N float is reversed.
