Jungheinrich Honors its Top-Performing Dealerships and Sales Professionals for 2007

February 21, 2008 - Richmond VA: Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp, manufacturer of eco-friendly ac-powered electric lift trucks, recently presented 2007 Elite Awards to its top dealerships, dealer sales managers and sales representatives. Using sales volume as the primary selection criteria, John Sneddon, president of Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp, acknowledged the following organizations and sales professionals for their efforts.

Dealer Organization Award Winners

Montréal Hydraulique of St.-Hubert, Quebec was recognized as the No. 1 dealer and winner of the top award, the “Golden GabelStapler” (Golden Forklift) trophy. Jean Paré, general director, accepted the trophy. New England Industrial Truck of Woburn, MA was named the No. 2 dealer and winner of the Silver Award, which was accepted by Jim Hall on behalf of president Richard ‘Dick’ Rossi. HOJ Engineering & Sales of Salt Lake City, UT was named the No. 3 dealer and winner of the Bronze Award, which was accepted by Brian Keeran, sales manager. J. M. Equipment of Fresno, CA was recognized as Jungheinrich’s No. 4 dealer. Audie Burgan, the company’s president, accepted their Honorable Mention Award. Southwest Materials Handling of Dallas, TX was recognized as Jungheinrich’s No. 5 dealer. President Joe Harper accepted their Honorable Mention Award.

All of these dealers, along with their spouses, will spend approximately one week in Milan, Italy -- enjoying the beauty of the city and its surroundings -- accompanied by John Sneddon and Chuck Leone, Jungheinrich’s president and vice president of sales & marketing, respectively. The trip will include a dinner with Dr. Helmut Limberg, member of the board of management and head of marketing and sales for Jungheinrich AG, as well as a visit to Jungheinrich’s Milan branch, with a stop at one or two of the branch’s long-term fleet customers.

Sales Manager and Sales Representative Award Winners

In addition to the top Jungheinrich dealers, awards were presented to the top three sales managers of 2007. In no particular order, they are William ‘Bill’ Leavitt, vice president of  sales at New England Industrial Truck; Frank Stevens, sales manager at Norlift of Oregon, Inc; and Sergio Mendizabal, president of Inter Price Logistica, S.A. de C.V. (Sociedad Anonima de Capital Variable). These winners, along with their spouses, will be accompanied by Jungheinrich Management to the Riu Palace, an all-inclusive resort on Paradise Island, Nassau, The Bahamas. Also invited on the trip will be the top 20 dealer sales representatives, including the three highest-ranked sales achievers:  Daniel Labonte of Montréal Hydraulique, Mike Falkowitz of Southwest Materials Handling and Brian Keeran of HOJ Engineering & Sales.
