Thinbit Groove 'N Turn gives user ability to groove and turn using narrow insert widths. Insert is available in 2 submicron grain carbide grades: DM-2 for steel and interrupted cutting, and DM-5 for aluminum and other nonferrous alloys. Groove width sizes are 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.1, and 0.125 in., with sharp corners or 0.007 in. corner radius. Uncoated and TiN coated inserts are in stock. TiCN, TiAIN, and diamond coatings are available.
