Model ETP-Octopus can be set up for frequent locking/unlocking of linear slides or similar motion devices at one or series of positions from remote switching location. Providing uniform and repeatable locking pressure, they are designed for use with sliding shafts and components in automated systems. Devices are available in 3 models with pressure ranges to 6,500 psi and with aluma-bronze or steel sleeve bores, ranging from 10–100 mm.
