Based on laser triangulation principle, Class IIIb single-point Model SLS6000 has integrated sensor head and built-in signal processor for data averaging and filtering. Laser feedback loop allows accurate measurement without regard to color, ambient light changes, and speed and temperature of nonferrous material. Measurements are made with reliability to 16,000 times/sec. Sensor measures up to 40 in. with accuracy of ±0.006 in. to ±0.016 in.
