While OnSite is designed to support manufacturers and distributors, this impressive, international portal site deserves attention. If you're in the material handling business, chances are good that you'll find something of value here, including news, forums, both sides of employment, and a rich, well categorized Marketplace section consisting mainly of used equipment. Once there, you can spec what you seek by manufacturer as well as equipment parameters. All areas of the site are very well segmented, as first reflected in the expanding menus of the homepage. The site isn't U.S. based, but the Business Directory alone—with hundreds of U.S.-based listings—is worth a visit. Spec-Checker also shines.
