The FKI Logistex Baggage Handling Team has signed contracts worth over $100 million with numerous airports worldwide since its launch in May 2001.
The single-source provider of fully integrated baggage handling solutions has successfully completed the manufacture, installation, and integration of baggage handling systems in airports globally, including projects for high-traffic airports such as Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Singapore's Changi Airport (SIN), and Madrid's Barajas Airport (MAD), the 14th, 16th and 25th busiest airports in the world. Collectively, the three airports are responsible for nearly 97 million passengers annually.
The North American Baggage Handling Team has current design/build contracts with Tampa Airport (TPA), Jacksonville (JIA), and Ottawa Terminal E (YOW). The team is a technology leader in radio-frequency identification (RFID) and explosion detection system (EDS) integration for small- to medium-sized airport systems. In addition, the FKI Logistex North American team has recent contract wins at Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU) and Will Rogers World Airport (OKC), and completed the integration of an InVision EDS at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The FKI Logistex Baggage Handling Team has a long history in the areas of baggage claim, make-up devices and check-in stations, software and control systems, sortation technologies and conveyor systems.
