UL Listed for Class I, Div 1 and Class II, Div 1 hazardous locations, the rugged AIFX Series comes as a 4FT, 2 lamp unit with various T8 and T12 fluorescent lamp options. The AIFX is suitable for locations having deposits of readily combustible paint residue. In addition, since it is UL Listed for Marine Outdoor applications in saltwater environments, it can be used on offshore drilling platforms.

Complementing the company's existing range of Class I, Div 2 and Class II, Div 2 luminaires, it is the first of several new explosionproof products that Paramount will bring to market. AIFX was designed and built in cooperation with a leading South American lighting manufacturer, Blinda Industria e Comercio Ltd. The new luminaire is manufactured in Brazil by Blinda and distributed throughout North America exclusively by Paramount.
