Master Bond's technical staff developed a UL94V-O recognized flame-resistant, self-extinguishing potting compound, EP21FRLVSP, which cures readily at ambient temperatures with a noncritical one-to-one mix ratio, weight, or volume. It also has excellent resistance when exposed to fuels, lubricants, and other aggressive environmental conditions over a wide service temperature range from -60°F to over 250°F.

This Master Bond potting compound has gained acceptance by major OEMs as well as subcontractors as a reliable, long service protection for the Whitman Controls miniature switch line. The most desirable performance properties of the EP21FRLVSP compound are excellent dimensional stability together with less than 0.5% shrinkage on curing, outstanding electrical insulation properties, and resistance to hostile environments.
