Newly released Abaqus® Student Ed v6.5 complements Abaqus Research Ed and Teaching Ed v6.5, which are used extensively in academic institutions worldwide to train engineers in the discipline of finite element analysis.

Abaqus software is in use at the university undergraduate, graduate, and research level at more than 1,000 sites worldwide. Abaqus Teaching Ed and Research Ed packages provide students and university research personnel with FEA software for classroom and research projects. Abaqus Student Ed is economically priced to enable engineering students to use it to supplement their classroom and research work.
