Radial Series CL drills through 2 3/16 in. of steel and 2 3/4 in. of cast iron; taps through 2 in. of steel and 2 3/8 in. of cast iron; and bores through 5 in. of steel and 7 3/8 in. of cast iron. Cast iron arm with ground, hardened slides ensures smooth, accurate head positioning. Construction also includes nickel-chrome high-speed gears and disc clutch to absorb spindle impact forces.
