Tri-layer Tufcote Type RM-10-75 comprises 3/4 in. urethane foam decoupler, 1 lb/sq ft flexible lead-free vinyl barrier, and top facing of aluminized scrim-reinforced polyester. Layers are fused to resist delamination and withstand up to 300°F. Applied with barrier toward noise and heat source, decoupled barrier contains noise while shiny reflective facing reduces heat transfer. Composite meets MVSS 302 flame standards.
