By monitoring activity of circuit breaker, OPTImizer+ determines when wear exceeds normal limits. Specifically, it measures linkage movement (as measured by contact intervals); changes in trip coil latch time; arc duration; and contact interrupting duty. It quantifies, alarms, and trends parameters, prompting preventative -- not premature -- breaker replacement. Monitor works with all circuit breakers.
