Barrel-style Model PT30/KT34 has PVDF housing, cable, cord grip, and mounting brackets that tolerate most industrial chemicals. Capacitive sensor detects metallic and nonmetallic materials throughout 10 or 20 mm sensing range, with 2% FS repeatability. Single NC and single NO outputs can be specified NPN or PNP; green and yellow LEDs give visual indication of power and output status. Four-wire device requires 10-65 Vdc and protects against short circuits, overload, wire break, reverse polarity, and transient voltages. Compensation circuitry ignores face contamination, water splash, and dust buildup. Flush- and nonflush-mounting versions withstand -13 to +158°F and meet NEMA 1/3/4/6/13 and IEC IP 67.
