Bullhorn, American Innovations' New Low-Cost Wireless Solution

Bullhorn™ Remote Monitoring System, American Innovations' low-cost wireless monitoring system, checks inputs from equipment remotely and provides automatic notification of alarm events by fax, page and/or email. Bullhorn monitors all kinds of remote equipment including pumps, storage tanks, compressors, cell towers, gas, water and electric meters and more.

The system is also available in South America, where Mercury Communications has been named as an authorized representative. Bullhorn uses the MicroBurst™ wireless network from Aeris.net to transfer information from remote equipment to a central database. Aeris.net, a leading provider of wireless web and machine-to-machine communications services, recently extended its coverage to include Argentina. Aeris.net MicroBurst service will be available in Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and a number of other South American countries soon. Currently, Aeris.net service covers 98% of the U.S. and is available in all states of Mexico and provinces of Canada.

Because it uses the control channels of an existing cellular network, MicroBurst data transfer is low-cost, robust, and available nationwide. In seconds, data packets are transferred from the Bullhorn unit over the cellular network to the Aeris.net operating center and on to AIs' secure website. Once received at the site, packets are decoded and data posted for customers to view or download.

"We are very excited about supporting AI's sales efforts," said Ricardo Perelman, Business Director for Mercury Communications. "Mercury has already uncovered a large number of opportunities in South America for a highly reliable solution like Bullhorn that will allow our customers to monitor their equipment more effectively and less expensively than ever beforeno matter what industry they are in."

"Mercury has excelled in bringing the latest technologies to the South American market. They will play a critical role in providing Bullhorn to industry professionals seeking to improve efficiency and safety," said Lee Blankenstein, Director of Sales and Marketing for American Innovations.
