Model ALC 600 provides precise motor control for rod, progressive cavity, and ESP pumps. Direct Torque Control feature eliminates need for external PLC or hardwired control logic. Fast response time of controller, which calculates motor speed/torque 40,000 times/sec, protects motor, rod, and pump from catastrophic failure and makes variable speed drive virtually tripless while in operation. Electronics are housed in NEMA 4 compartment. Heatsink, optional filter, and transformer are located in ventilated, dust-protected NEMA 3R section. Pole- and pad-mounted units come in 5-100 hp capacity; dual-inverter model, 20-120 hp.
