Low-outgassing ARclean DEV-8968, with white 2 mil polyester film carrier, and DEV-8969, with clear carrier, have permanent adhesive on one side and strippable adhesive on other. Peeling polyester release liner exposes adhesive. Tape exhibits ultra-low VOCs and low extractable ions. Lack of acrylic acids reduces media fogging and head corrosion when installed in hard disk drives.
