Recently Clippard introduced a total redesign of the stainless steel cylinder line. This redesign, which utilizes the magnet option, provides the OEM design engineer the flexibility of interchanging Clippard with other manufacturers. Plus, maintenance personnel can now replace other manufacturers with Clippard. The new shorter length also provides for installation in smaller/tighter fitting areas, thereby saving space in the overall design.
Included in this overall change is a new position sensor for those cylinders equipped with an internal magnet. This new GMR sensor provides for high levels of durability, sensitivity, response time with low power consumption and low cost.
