Presenting an international product range covering assembly and handling technology, robotics, machine vision, and associated technologies, AUTOMATICA is the first international event that brings all branches of the robotics and automation industry together in a single event. Held every two years at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, this international trade fair will take place on June 10-13, 2008.
At this year’s show, 900 exhibitors will present their products to an anticipated 30,000 visitors from all over the world. Currently over 339,000 sq ft of exhibition space have been booked, a significant increase over AUTOMATICA 2006.
Highlights include:
Innovations Platform Service Robotics: Over a dozen manufacturers, suppliers, and respected research institutes from Europe and overseas, working in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IPA, will showcase the latest developments in international service robots.
- Mechatronics Airport: A futuristic display, set out like an airport, will highlight approaches, ideas, and projects involving mechatronics processes.
- Communication Area: Panel discussions on topical, applications-focused themes will be presented; the diverse lecture program will explore innovative themes in assembly, robotics and machine vision.
Concurrent conferences:
Robotik 2008 is expected to attract 250 experts from the robotics sector.
- At DAGM 2008, experts will present and discuss current topics related to pattern recognition and image processing.
- Intersolar 2008, International Trade Fair for Solar Technology, will take place for the first time at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, June 12 – 14, 2008. AUTOMATICA will offer its attendees the opportunity to visit Intersolar 2008 for free.
